Crosby's Soca Jam is Trinidad & Tobago's premier street jam and
free concert, attracting over 40,000 hand-waving, gyrating, fun-loving Trinis and visitors
dancing in and around King George V Park, and enjoying themselves from dusk to dawn. It is
the major record-launching and carnival activity, enjoying participation by the big name
to the unknown calypso performer and just about every recording artiste in Trinidad and
Tobago, with a growing Caribbean interest.
Crosby's Soca Jam is the performer's measure of the degree of public
acceptance of the content of the calypso offering and the quality of the performance. It
has surpassed the calypso tents' "clash" as the "dry-run" to the Soca
Monarch and National Monarch Competitions. With presenters Nicki and Errol, and superb
